When Love Turns into Hatred Chapter 11

Judson went back to Imperial Garden and saw the empty room.

His face was extremely cold.

He cracked open the wardrobe. Her beautiful clothes were all there, not missing a single.

Judson tilted his head and talked to Isidro.

“I’ll give you half a day to tell that woman to come back.”

It was a lame trick of pretending to escape home.

Rose didn’t take any clothes she liked. Did she think Judson was stupid?

She accidentally wore clothes of other colors this time. Judson guessed she avoided attracting others‘ attention and Isidro’s investigation. She wanted it to be easier for her to play tricks of stalking.

Isidro trembled and then continued reporting. “Mr. Roach, Flourish Media says that they have other solid evidence in their hands. They say if you don’t want to be defeated in court, you’d better withdraw the lawyer’s letter without further intensifying the conflict.”

Isidro simply repeated Flourish Media’s words.

Flourish Media’s attitude was arrogant. It seemed that they would fight Judson to the end.

“They also seem to be protecting the reporter who wrote the article. The reporter exposed the recording this time. I don’t know the reporter’s background…

“Background?” Judson snorted. The coldness in his eyes grew stronger. “What else could it be?”

No one besides Darrin dared to be at loggerheads with Judson.

The reporter was either Darrin’s man or Darrin himself.

Judson sat down, raised his head, and tugged at his collar. He asked with his slender legs crossed, “What’s the name of that reporter?”

Isidro replied, “Fatima Meyer.”

“Fatima Meyer?” Judson stretched his fingers. “Very well. Keep an eye on her and sue her.”

Isidro asked tentatively, “Sue her how?”

Judson’s legal team needed to know his bottom line to act.

Judson raised his head slightly. “End her.”

He didn’t care about a ruined life or a homeless woman. He just wanted Fatima to end miserably.

Judson wouldn’t show mercy to Darrin.

Isidro went downstairs and shook his head.

Judson showed mercy before. Rose knelt to beg for his mercy, and Judson let Darrin go.

Darrin would never be able to make a fuss if Judson punished him back then. Darrin knew Rose was Judson’s future wife, but he kept a blind eye to the reporter’s article about Judson and Lillian’s affair.

Darrin had no gratitude.

Isidro took out his phone and called the chief lawyer. “Mr. Roach said that Flourish Media’s reporter named Fatima Meyer needed to be taken care of especially… He asked to end her. Do you understand?”

Isidro made another call. “We must find Ms. Edwards within three hours! Yes, even by kidnapping her.”

Rose indeed irritated Judson this time.

She even handed over a clip of her phone call with Lillian to Flourish Media.

The Roach family treated her well. Rose made a mistake by doing so.

She was helping other enemies.

She had no idea who was kind to her.

Rose’s parents died. Due to their kindness to the Roach family, Rose had been treated by the Roach family as a treasure. She ought to have some gratitude.

“Mr. Bowen,” Aileen sneaked over. “I’ve heard that Mr. Roach is looking for Ms. Edwards?”

Aileen had been a housekeeper in the Roach family for seven years since Judson moved to Imperial Garden.

Isidro rubbed his stiff temples and forced a smile. “That’s right… Aileen, you should be familiar with Ms. Edwards. In your opinion, where is she?”

Frankly speaking, Isidro was not confident that he could find Rose within half a day.

Isidro had a bad intuition. Rose didn’t leave Imperial Garden this time just for fun.

Isidro exhausted all his means the day before yesterday, but he couldn’t find any clues about her.

Judson gave him half a day. Isidro could only leave three hours for his men.

Isidro didn’t hold any hope when he asked Aileen for help.

Unexpectedly, Aileen’s eyes rolled slightly. “I do know a way to find Ms. Edwards. Mr. Bowen, if you trust me, you can leave this to me…”

Rose was having a meeting.

Lakisha sat at the corner of the conference table, pointing at the projection screen with a long thin stick in her hand. “Our priority for this month’s interview tasks is Hector Tate…”

Rose’s phone screen lit up.

She glanced at her phone and stood up. “Ms. Whitney, excuse me.”

Lakisha waved her hand, not paying much attention.

Rose walked out of the meeting room and came to a secluded place. She picked up the phone call. “Ms. Stewart, what do you want from me?”

There was a familiar child voice on the other side of the line. “Rose?

Rose?”

Rose instantly became nervous.

“Jenifer!”

How could Jenifer use Lillian’s mobile phone to call her?

“Rose,” Jenifer’s voice was low and weak but with joy, “She said that she was your good friend and would hire the best doctor to treat me. She asked me to call you and say hello…”

“Jenifer.” Rose’s voice became softer when she comforted her younger cousin, “Give the phone to her. I will thank her for you.”

Lillian’s voice quickly sounded with a vicious pleasure. “Ms. Edwards, Jenifer is so sensible and cute.”

“Ms. Stewart, just tell me what to do. Let go of my cousin.” Rose lowered her voice and clenched her teeth.

“Ms. Edwards, what are you talking about? I especially came here to visit Jenifer.” Lillian exaggeratedly showed her surprise.

“Jenifer is so cute, but she is seriously ill. I heard that the best doctor had left the country again. Ms. Edwards, if I were you, I would watch over her all the time, for fear that something might happen to her.”

Rose’s palms were soaked in sweat.

She understood Lillian’s threat.

“What do you want me to do?”

Lillian let out a chuckle. “Ms. Edwards, why are you so nervous? Judging from your tone, it seems like I’m going to force you to commit suicide by jumping off a building.”

Suicide by jumping off a building…

Rose’s forehead throbbed with pain.

She seemed to see a blurry scene.

Under the gloomy sky, a young woman stood on the top of the building and suddenly jumped. She fell like a kite with a broken string.

As a young girl, Rose screamed and ran towards the dead woman in misery and panic.

“Mom!

“Mom, I’m back!

“Mom, I’m alright.

“Stay with me…”

Rose’s back was covered in cold sweat. She finally came out of her past nightmare.

Lillian’s voice sounded again. “Ms. Edwards, I’m waiting for you at the hospital to discuss Jenifer’s treatment plan. I’ll only wait for you for an hour…”
